Our Team
Harry J. Fermann, CPA
Holds a BBA degree from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Certified Public Accountant who has 6 years of experience as an internal auditor with a major steel producer. He has 17 years experience as controller/treasurer with mechanical and boiler repair contractors. He has been owner/partner with Fermann Staun & Co., LLC CPAs for 25+ years preparing personal tax and business entity tax returns, financial statement review and compilations, write up work, payroll and payroll report preparation. Harry volunteers as the treasurer for the Williamstown Lake Association. One of the perks of being a member at the lake he enjoys fishing with his grand-kids even if it is just to bait the hooks and removing the fish.
David M. Fermann, CPA
Holds a BSBA from Ohio State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15+ years experience in small business and individual taxation. After graduation he joined the private sector and was an internal auditor for a company, after which he moved to Colorado. After working for a public accounting firm in Colorado, he joined Fermann Staun & Co., LLC CPAs in 2000. Since then he has worked as a partner in the firm with hundreds of small business clients and individuals. David is also a Pro-Advisor of Quickbooks. Having 3 children who are active in sports and school, he volunteers in multiple capacities for St. Gertrude parish and Loveland youth soccer.
Bob Staun, CPA
Holds a BBA from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Certified Public Accountant who has over 15 years of public accounting experience in audit and tax. He is a Notary for the State of Ohio. He was a controller for Community Trust Bank, Skyline Lodge Inc and CFO for Marina Management Services. Bob joined Fermann Staun & Co., LLC CPAs January of 2012. He is a partner and co-developer for AeroTco, which is a 38 t-hangar project at Lunken Airport (LUK). Bob also has his commercial pilot license. He volunteers for Cincinnati Police and Citizens on patrol.
Bernard G. Buerger, CPA
Holds a BA in accounting from Thomas Moore College, class of 1969. After graduation he joined the Internal Revenue Service and was an employee there for over 8 years. He has been in the public accounting service for 35+ years. He just recently added a new grandson into the family making the total of 14 grandchildren. He is an active parishioner and volunteer at St. Veronica Parish.
Laramie Chastain
Holds a Bachelor of Arts from Muskingum University and is preparing to take the Certified Public Accounting exam. She started working for Fermann Staun & Co., LLC CPAs in January of 2013. She is a Notary for the State of Ohio. Laramie is originally from a very small town in Adams County, 1 hour away from Fermann and Company. After living less than 10 minutes from work she moved to Covington. She is a Quickbooks Proadvisor.
Crystal Kingery
Is the smiling face you see when coming into our office, joining Fermann Staun & Co., LLC in December of 2014. Crystal has several years of accounting office experience and likes to make the clients' visit as stress free as possible. She recently moved to the "big city" and loves the convenience that it has provided. She and her husband are from Adams County and are the proud parents of three daughters.
